How to Share a Property's Verified Record With a Buyer

Published 23 August 2026 · Propvio Guides

If a property you are marketing has a Propvio record, sharing it with a buyer takes a few minutes. Here is how the process works.

Search for the Property

From your Propvio account, search for the property by address or postcode. If a public passport already exists, you can view it directly.

Request Access if the Passport Is Private

If the passport is private, request access instead. The homeowner receives an email and can approve or deny the request. A request that goes unanswered expires after 7 days.

Once approved, the property appears under Granted Passports on your dashboard, ready to share whenever you need it.

Send the passport link to a prospective buyer directly. They do not need a Propvio account or to log in to view it, so there is no barrier between sending the link and them actually seeing the history.

Comparing Multiple Properties

If you are helping a buyer weigh up several properties at once, a comparison view lets you look at more than one property's verified history side by side, rather than switching between separate links.
