Property logbooks already exist — document storage that travels with a home from owner to owner. Tradesperson marketplaces already exist too — find someone, read some reviews, get a quote. Neither one does the other's job, and the gap between them is the part that actually matters: nobody combines verified tradesperson identity checks, reviews tied to a real logged job, and a record permanently bound to the property that survives every sale.

That's the whole idea. A homeowner's maintenance history shouldn't disappear the moment they move — and a tradesperson's reputation shouldn't be a pile of unverifiable star ratings anyone could have left.

Propvio checks tradesperson identity and accreditation: Gas Safe, NICEIC/NAPIT, company registration, insurance — reviewed before a Verified badge is granted, and paused automatically if a certificate lapses.

What we don't do is independently verify the accuracy of a job description itself. Log entries are marked as homeowner-reported or tradesperson-reported throughout the product, on public passports, and on tradesperson profiles — because the honest claim is "this person is who they say they are," not "every word of this job note is true." Disputes exist so disagreements stay visible, not hidden.
